Each one reflects, through its decoration, a particular period of the history of Portuguese maritime expansion in Africa and Asia, of which Bahia was one of the stages. The styles harmonize to give the whole a very Bahian tone. Canopy beds, antique furniture, wide wooden floors, high ceilings, brightness, and vibrant colors ensure serenity and romance.
